New season, updated weekly

Everything, considered.

Each piece here is chosen one by one for how it is made, how it ages and how it feels in the hand.

VII. Our story

A store built slowly, one piece at a time.

Four short chapters on how we choose, why we keep the range small and what we promise to everyone who orders.

  1. Empty black hangers on a rail beside a single printed dress

    Chapter I

    The empty rail

It began with a single rail and a rule: nothing goes on it unless we would keep it ourselves. Most things never made it. The few that did set the tone for everything after.

  2. Folded knitwear stacked in tones of burgundy, sand, white and charcoal

    Chapter II

    Fewer, better

We buy in small runs from workshops we know by name. It means pieces sell out and do not come back; it also means each one is checked, folded and photographed by the same hands.

  3. A cream leather case resting on an olive box on a perforated metal cabinet

    Chapter III

    Honest pictures

Every photograph is taken in daylight, without retouching the material. If a leather marks or a linen creases, you will see it here before it reaches your door.

  4. A person in a white studio arranging a short rail of neutral clothes

    Chapter IV

    Still here

Years later the rail has grown, the rule has not. Write to us and a person answers; send something back and it is taken care of. That is the whole idea.

With care, from everyone at the store

(02) — How we work

From our studio to your door.

Four steps, the same care at each one. This is what happens between the moment you order and the moment you open the box.

01

Selection

We choose the piece

Every object is handled, tested and approved in our studio before it is ever listed.

02

Finishing

Checked by hand

Each order is inspected piece by piece: glaze, seams, weight, finish. Nothing leaves imperfect.
