How we choose every piece in the shop
Every product in the shop starts as a question: would we use it every day, and would we still like it in a few years? Most candidates do not make it past that first test, and that is the point. A smaller collection means every piece has earned its place.
What we look at first
We start with materials and construction, because they decide how something ages. Then we look at how it feels in the hand and in daily use, not just how it looks in a photo. Finally we ask how it will be cared for, repaired or replaced if something goes wrong.
Living with it before you do
Before a piece joins the collection, it spends time with the team. We use it, wash it, carry it, drop it when it is honest to do so, and write down what we notice. Those notes become the descriptions you read on each product page.
What this means for you
Fewer choices, clearer information and products we are happy to stand behind. If something does not live up to that, tell us: your feedback goes straight into the next selection.
